We will become known nationally as an institution that “makes a difference”.

We continually strive to innovate – finding new and more effective ways to educate and serve students.

We approach our work with compassion–acknowledging the whole person: Working with integrity and caring, accepting people where they are and moving them forward without sacrificing standards or expectations; bringing joy, honesty, and understanding our work.

The mission of the college statement defines the college distinctive characteristics in terms of addressing the needs of the society, students, institute’s values orientation and vision for the future. The vision and mission of the college are in tune with the objectives of higher education. The formal and informal arrangements in the institutes to co-ordinate the academic and administrative planning and implementation reflects the college’s efforts in achieving its vision.

 

Reflection of Mission and Vision in the leadership of the college:

The policy statements and action plans: The management and Principal actively participate in GB and CDC for ensuring that the policy statements and action plans are aligned for attaining the mission of the Institute, disseminates the mission and vision to all stake holders and involve them in forming the policy statements. The Principal makes action plans in consultation with faculty members to review the outcomes from the implementation of action plans through meeting with functional committees and make necessary changes in action plans if required. The management takes review of quality policies and makes amendments in quality policies if required.

Formulation of actions plans: The action plans are formulated in line with quality policy under the leadership of the Principal and the same are incorporated into strategic plans for effective implementation.

Interaction with stakeholders: The Principal ensures that all stakeholders such as Alumni, Parents, Faculties, Management etc. are involved in different activities.

Reinforcing the culture of excellence: For the reinforcement of cultural excellence, the vision, mission, short term and long term goals, quality policies are kept wide open to all stakeholders for their suggestions, necessary training is provided to the faculty and supporting staff for their development it motivates the team building and team work to create healthy work culture.

Champion organizational change: During this span of time college has adopted many changes to attain its vision and mission.

Perspective Plans:  The perspective plans for next five years includes accreditation, research center, permanent affiliation, center of excellence and collaboration for higher studies and student placement.

 

Top Management, Principal and faculties plays an active role in ensuring the implementation of its quality policy and plans-

Role of Principal:  The Principal plays a very vital role in the academic, administrative development of the college. The post of Vice Principal, HOD and Course Coordinators are created:--

  • To ensure sustenance and development of quality in teaching-learning and evaluation.
  • To delegate the authority in the organizational hierarchy.
  • To assure the execution of the duties and responsibilities led down by University Act and Government regulations.
  • To motivate the faculties for quality improvement of the college and individual through research, guest lectures and seminars.
  • To ensure regular maintenance of infrastructure, equipments and create conducive environment.
  • To ensure conducive atmosphere of freedom and creativity.
  • To work as chief facilitator and revolutionary.
  • To define and delegate responsibilities to the staff, depending on their capabilities.

Role of the Teachers: The faculties are appointed as chairperson of various committees formed by the Principal for the smooth functioning of the college. Faculty members and student’s representatives conduct academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities for the students. The teachers works as a guide and counselor for the students.
